Draft Result Drafted in the 2009 Draft by the Buffalo Bills in the 1st round with the #11 pick.
Maybin may be the best pure pass rusher in the draft but will take a year or two to develop. Don't expect him to be anything more than a situational pass rusher in 2009.

Strengths Super quick off the ball. Does a nice job of making wide turns around tackles, yet still getting to the ball. Uses lack of size almost to an advantage. Understands leverage as well as any undersized pass rusher.

Weaknesses While effect against slower Big Ten offense tackles at 235lbs, Maybin will have to play on his feet at the pro level to succeed. Would be a major liability against the run as a 4-3 DE. Three years ago Manny Lawson was categorized as 3-4 only player and was drafted late in round 1. Could fall quickly to late in round 1 if not drafted by Green Bay or San Francisco.
