With Raheem Morris having Kansas St connections this is an ideal situation for Freeman. He has a lot of talent but will not be ready to play right away. Considering the army of quarterbacks on the roster the Bucs should not have to rush him.

Strengths One of the top quarterback recruits in 2006 whom immediately started for a rebuilding Kansas State program. After a spectacular performance against Texas in 2006, it appeared Freeman would be a top 5 pick in this year's draft. Freeman may not be a top 5 pick but the potential is there. At 6-6 250lbs its easy to see the JaMarcus Russell comparisons. When you look at physical tools, Josh Freeman might be the most gifted quarterback in this class. Has a cannon for an arm and is a good athlete for a 250 pounder.

Weaknesses Josh Freeman entered this draft for one reason: the overall lack of talent at the position. Any team that drafts Josh Freeman needs to prepare Freeman to start in 2010 and not 2009. Footwork and ability to read defenses are still a work in progress.
