Jerry fills an immediate need at defensive tackle. Not as big as most a typical Mike Smith DT but still an effective pick.

Strengths A quick, instinctive and athletic interior penetrator. Known for his ability to get into opposing backfields and make plays. One of the better interior pass rushers in the draft. Has great quickness off the line. Strong lower body allows him to anchor against the run. Hard work who plays with passion and excellent awareness. Has performed a high level against top competition in the SEC. Finally started getting the recognition he deserves on the vastly improved Rebel team. An ideal fit for a one gap Tampa 2 system.

Weaknesses A tad undersized for a top talent. Not strong enough or big enough to beat double teams. Has some injury concerns. A good player but will need to find the right system to reach his potential. May be a system player.
