Draft Result Drafted in the 2009 Draft by the Miami Dolphins in the 1st round with the #25 pick.

Davis is a physical player who fits the mold of a Parcells corner. May actually be a better fit at safety long-term. The Dolphins secondary needs work and Davis is a good first step.

Strengths A three year starter for Illinois who has played both corner and safety. The younger brother of 49er TE Vernon Davis should have a similar draft status:Top 10 pick. Physical corner who excels in man to man coverage. Not afraid to step up and play like a linebacker in run support.

Weaknesses Could be a workout warrior like his brother Vernon. Teams may overlook tendencies for mental mistakes. Could be an All-Pro shut down corner but could also become Antrel Rolle and moved to safety.
