Johnson is a good value pick here. He is a hard worker with excellent awareness and a knack for making plays in the clutch.

Strengths A former walk-on who became a captain and top safety prospect. Johnson is a playmaking free safety with excellent instincts. Has a nose for the ball in coverage and can lay the lumber in the secondary. Above average speed and quickness allows him to cover a lot of ground in the secondary. Excellent ball skills. Smart player whose intangibles may outway his physical limitations. Consider a leader by the Alabama coaches.

Weaknesses Undersized at just 186 pounds. While Johnson is solid in run support, it is not considered his strength. Had 1 off the field incident in college.
