NFL Draft Position (Rank): Defensive Tackle (5)

Draft Result Drafted in the 2009 Draft by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2nd round with the #24 pick.
The Colts needed a DT to stop the run and moving up for Moala is a good move.

Strengths A three year starter on a defense loaded with NFL talent. Moala has consistent technique and can play both a 3-4 and a 4-3. Solid run defender who doesn't over pursue plays. Should be the top defensive tackle in his class

Weaknesses Can he be as dominant with Sedrick Ellis playing next to him? Ellis created a double team on every play and now Moala will become the key player to double team on every play. Moala's stock will depend on pass rush ability. Without that factor he is categorized as a 3-4 DE only
