Draft Result Drafted in the 2009 Draft by the New England Patriots in the 2nd round with the #2 pick.
Chung is an ideal New England Patriot type of player. A big hitter who will attempt to fill the big shoes left by Rodney Harrison. Their secondary has been held together by smoke and mirrors in recent years and Chung is a nice infusion of talent and youth.

Strengths Four year starter with good measureables. Has size to play free or strong. Physical safety with good run/pass skills. A stout run defender with excellent tackling skills. Has good coverage skills and above average range. A physical presence in the secondary willing to lay the lumber on receivers coming across the middle. An intimidator.

Weaknesses Plays overaggressive at times. Lacks ideal height. Good all around safety but does not excel in any one facet of the game aside from his physical presence.
