Unger is a solid value pick at this point. His versatility could allow him to play multiple positions along the offensive line.

Strengths One of the fastest rising line prospects in the 2009 NFL draft. Entering the season he was a 4th round prospect but is now is a sleeper 1st rounder and near certain day 1 pick. The most versatile lineman in the draft with the skills to play C,G or T. Was 2nd team All Pac 10 as a LT his sophomore year before moving to center as a junior. Good size and above average strength. A bit of a mauler who can drive blockers in the ground game. Holds up well in pass protection. Good short area quickness which enables him to pull and get to the 2nd level. A good technician who gets by with hard work rather great athleticism.

Weaknesses Taller and bigger than most centers. From a size standpoint he looks like a tackle. Does not possess great footwork. Not a great athlete which is part of the reason his future is brightest inside.
