Larry English may be the best 3-4 LB in the draft, and obviously the Chargers think so. This selection calls in to question the status of Shawne Merriman's knee.

Strengths One the best pure pass rushers in college football. Athletic with a quick first step. Four year starter who continues to get better. Suited to play 3-4 OLB at the next level

Weaknesses To play in a 4-3, English must add bulk. Has a hard time taking on larger offensive linemen.
